At Motorparts.ie we are a very customer focused company and treat customers as we would like to be treated ourselves. We are happy to facilitate you to return an item you have received within 30 days of purchase. It will need to be unused and has not been fitted, along with seals on packaging (particularly on electronic items) unbroken. Contact us before returning the goods and we will go through the simple and easy process with you.
First thing to do is contact Motorparts.ie for a Returns Authorisation Number. Email us at email@example.com or call us 01-4370147 and we will help you with the returns process. Alternatively you can use our website Contact Form.
Items being returned need to be unused and has not been fitted along with having its original packaging undamaged and in a resalable condition. Seals on packages (particularly on electronic items and Timing Belts) must not be broken. All manuals and accessories of the item will need to be included and intact.
Sending your Return
Please insure to pack your item safely for protection in transit and write the Returns Authorisation Number clearly on the outside of the package.
We strongly advise you use a Tracked Delivery Service to return your item. For the fastest and cheapest solution we recommend (within Ireland) to use the following.

Cancelling an order
To cancel an order before it is dispatched, fill in the Contact Form and select “Cancel Order”.
If somehow your item is damaged, then you need to contact us straight away (yes, the Contact Form again), and we’ll go through the Warranty claims process with you. Select ‘damaged item’ in the form. We’ll send a ‘returns authorisation number’ to you.
Important: Please inspect and refuse your parcel if damaged. Specify the damage on the delivery docket, as claims cannot be entertained once an order has been signed for.
The cost of return postage is payable by the customer. Should you need any assistance please get in contact with us here at Motorparts.ie and we will advise you on the most cost effective and efficient way of returning your item to us.
When returning an item, use the original packaging and make sure the outer packaging is securely sealed.
On receipt of your item we will set about processing your return as quickly as possible. Refunds are processed through the method to which payment was made and within 3 working days. We reserve the right to refuse returns if the item is received otherwise than in accordance with our Terms and conditions.
“Special Order” means any goods that are not held in stock by us (a non-stock item) and are therefore ordered and/or manufactured specifically as per your request.
Please note the following items will not be accepted for return:
* Damaged packaging and opened blister packs.
* Special Orders.
* Correctly supplied vehicle electronic components (Sensors, EGR Valves, Mass Airflow Meters, Ignition Coils, Fuel Pumps etc).
* Timing Belts.
It is imperative that the Goods we supply are new and unused. Electronic components when misdiagnosed can easily be damaged and therefore we cannot accept their return. Similarly, open Timing Belts cannot be verified as unused, therefore we cannot accept them back once the package is opened.
