Timing belts drive the camshaft from the crankshaft to control the opening and closing of your Vauxhall Corsa engine valves. Like all rubber products, they deteriorate over time, regardless of the mileage. So check the users manual of your Vauxhall Corsa for the recommended change intervals. A snapped belt will most likely result in the need to replace the engine in your Vauxhall Corsa.
